Initiative for cooperation by representatives of the Smart tourism enhancement project (STEP). STEP- Smart Tourism Enhancement Project in accordance with the activities of the APTRM for coordinative approach, inter-institutional and international cooperation, as well as networking of all affected tourist entities, consider the possibilities where APTRM can assist tourism public and private entities in promoting their services.
At today’s meeting, the director Ljupco Janevski and Florent Bajrami, project coordinator of STEP, set the guidelines in achieving common goals:
– Activities in terms of expanding and advancing the strategic and coordinated approach to specific new and strategic tourism export markets for tourism businesses (especially SMEs – SMEs and new enterprises), and increasing the capacity of tourism enterprises to meet demand and the demands of the tourists in the region and building strategic partnerships and cooperation in the country, regionally and globally;
– The goal is to make a constructive impact that will lead to a strong sustainable STEP network of informed and authorized tourist public and private entities, CSOs, tourist clusters and / or chambers of commerce. As stated in the STEP official document, the network using social media and online resources will provide an excellent channel for information distribution.
The project is implemented by the Metamorphosis Foundation with its partners, the Center for Development of the Polog Planning Region and the Council of the Elbasan County, and is funded by the European Union.
