On September 22, the grantees from Albania visited the members of STEP from Northern Macedonia. During the working meeting, members who are owners of similar businesses exchanged experiences. Cooperation agreements were also signed to create and offer joint packages as partners on both sides of the border.

The first working meeting was held with Blerim Shaqiri, from Jeta Air Tour, to promote the services and products of the grantees from Albania, through his travel agency.

Then, in Grish Cafe, they were introduced to a completely different offer, namely Grish Cafe customers use free bicycles to do their daily chores. Pedalo in Belsch received useful information about their business activity and after the constructive meeting, the parties agreed to continue and deepen the cooperation.

The NB Hotel was the next stop, where at the working lunch, the hotel manager explained the possibilities for cooperation to the visitors from Albania. The meeting was joined by Senad Idrizi, a professional cyclist on behalf of the cyclists’ association and an avid fan of active nature walks, where he shared the experience he had in 2019 with Albert Kaleci, a member of the network. STEP, cross-border tour with German tourists in the region of Polog, Ohrid and Elbasan.

An art colony with painters from Northern Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania was underway on the top floor of the hotel, and of course the STEP members took the opportunity to see some of the artwork.

Then the working meetings continued in Vratnica and Belovishte where agreements were signed with Hostel Kitka and Belojski Biser.

They finished the hard working day by climbing Popova Sapka, Hotel Skardus, also a member of STEP which in its offer offers three activities similar to the grantees, hotel, restaurant and mountain biking.

Today, working meetings and meetings continue and on the agenda are meetings with representatives of museums, kayaks and gastronomy.
