The partners of the STEP project, together with network members, will organize the first workshop in Popova Sapka on March 4-5, which will initiate various types of cross-border travel packages and tours that “pack” a wide range of services together to create a uniquely common experience.

About 25 tourism entities and other tourism entities, from the Polog region and from Elbasan (50 in total) are expected to participate and practically work on the creation of these tourist packages, which will later be presented in the digital platform iTop.

The most active members of the STEP network will have the advantage of participation. Packages will combine things like transport, accommodation and food and will always include places and attractions on both sides of the border.

The workshop will have a presentation of ideas for tourist packages from the previous three joint meetings in smaller groups that worked in the Elbasan and Polog region, as well as a theoretical presentation of the tourist package with a specific example, a division of the participants in groups of interest for the development of these packages, orientation of the groups that will work, group work with the help of the project team, presentation of their groups, as well as conclusions and continuation for the second workshop.

The project is funded by the European Union.
